The music video for Small Talk has a sort of indie/rock feel, the video is based around a plain white background with various shots of the band members playing instruments. In the background different colored arrows zoom across behind the members, at one point the background changes to an equalizer and the bars seem to bounce along with the music. Close up shots of the bands instruments follow and this captures the energy of the band, when the solo begins the background changes color to a blue and the camera zooms into the guitarist as he continues his solo. When the main chorus of the song begins a side shot of the singer begins and words begin to appear out of the singer’s mouth. At the fast part of the song the editing begins to become faster and focuses on the drummers hands. The overall style of the video is very lively and pop based but it goes very well with the indie/rock style.
